“ I find myself returning to this place because it gets the job done. It's not fancy or anything like that but it's tasty and cheap. I love the pollo a la plancha. Cooked nicely and it's so big I usually save half of it for a snack later. Can't beat the price ”
“ We ordered some Cuban sandwich, which came with yummy plaintain long chips. Not a WOW but honestly not bad either. We sat on the side bar, not in the center seating around a center station (thought it's a bit unique). Waitress was nice and provided good service. Tried the galleta de jamon and it turned out to be stacked ham and meat between square crackers LOL. The plaintain chips stole the show for us! ”
“ Today was q gloomy yet cool day in Miami. This was the perfect spot to take in that weather. Plenty of seating and benches outside, and adequate seating inside and at the take out counter. The staff is great. The waitress attended us within mere minutes, and before we could blink our eyes our food was served. We both ordered the chicken breast with onions and beans. The chicken was cooked to perfection,it was moist and scrumptious. If you're looking for a local Spanish pick me up place, this is the place to be. ”
“ Excellent sandwiches and lunch dishes to get to go for the beach! Walk up and order outside, or grab a stool in the A/C inside if its not to crowded with lunch service. Cubano sandwich is the obvious choice to order, melon drink is fresh and great for the beach as well ”
“ What do you get when you combine your neighborhood Cuban cafeteria, with all the classic staples, bright lighting and political conversation, and throw in a couple of flat panel TV's? El Latin American on Coral Way! I stopped in for breakfast this morning while running a few errands in Coral Way. The food is Cuban breakfast comfort food. Orange Juice was served in a tall cup, and it was cool to the palate. However, it tasted as if it came from the Sysco Farm, as it was lacking in pulp. (Yep, I like my orange juice messy and pulpy.) The milk for the Cafe Con Leche was comfortably warm rather than steaming, and the coffee was served separately so that you can proportion the coffee and sugar mixture to your liking. The tostadas were the saving grace. They were nicely sized and deliciously slathered with butter! There are a few outdoor tables, which are perfect for a lazy Cuban breakfast Saturday. Counter space is plentiful, and the bathrooms are also clean. However, the parking lot is not proportional with the restaurant size. There are a few street spots though. ”
